TicketManager Partners with Stanford Athletics

New partnership with online app provider makes company-owned tickets and suites easy to use while proving ROI

A new partnership between Stanford Athletics and TicketManager was announced today, secured on behalf of the Cardinal by Cardinal Sports LLC., Stanford Athletics’ exclusive multimedia rights holder and a property of Learfield Sports. TicketManager is a cloud-based ticket management provider. Cardinal Sports staff will now be able to automate their tickets through TicketManager’s online tools and mobile apps making it easy to control who gets tickets and put the right customers in the best seats.

TicketManager will provide the firms online tools and mobile apps to companies using Cardinal tickets. This marks the beginning of Stanford Athletics’ first year with TicketManager, who is already being used by over 4,000 companies worldwide to make tickets easy to access and share instantly.

“Stanford is a technology mecca at the heart of Silicon Valley, where the bar for software as a service is extremely high,” said TicketManager CEO and Cupertino native Tony Knopp. “We’re honored to partner with Stanford Athletics and showcase TicketManager as their high tech solution and are eager to help companies get the most from their tickets, which represent a vital business asset.”

Stanford Cardinal sponsors are primed for an exciting year as the team looks to continue their recent winning ways in the Pac-12 Conference. A winning team brings corporate sponsors who use the demand to align their brand with the University. “Teams in high demand are terrific for business,” said Knopp. “With TicketManager, we enable them to control exactly who gets to see what tickets they have and make sure the right people get to the big games.”

When fans and sponsors pack out Stanford Stadium this year, TicketManager will provide high-level visibility of corporate ticket use.

“That instant reporting and ticket access– even on your mobile phone– is what makes TicketManager so attractive to companies like FedEx and Wells Fargo,” said Knopp. “The average corporate suite guest can be worth $135,000 in business, but there are a lot of small details you have to manage in order to stay tax compliant. It’s so much easier when you automate everything with corporate entertaining including tracking and reporting in one app.”

Adam Requarth, General Manager of Cardinal Sports LLC., said easy, mobile ticket tracking was something that will bring sponsors great value, “There’s no need for us to keep up with multiple spreadsheets anymore, or let our tickets go to waste because of simple miscommunications. Now everyone can see the tickets available to them on the app, and they can share them with clients or customers instantly.”

Thanks to instant reporting, sales and executive teams can make informed decisions about how to use their suites. They can base their ticketing decisions on TicketManager’s customizable ROI and 200+ on-demand reports, rather than on speculation.

“We’re expecting to hear good things from the sponsors this year,” said Requarth. “The new partnership with TicketManager will make their ticketing decisions much more informed and efficient, and that means better ROI for everyone.”
